Jesus Christ is the ONLY Way
Romans 6: 12-13 “12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.”
There is no ‘sitting on the fence’ when it comes to our relationship with God. Either we are with him 100% or we are with the devil. We can never be undecided. There is no middle road to salvation. Jesus Christ is the ONLY way (John 14: 6).
If you claim to be a Christian, you cannot continue to deliberately live in sin! Our sins have been crucified with Christ, therefore, it is no longer us that live but Christ lives in us (Galatians 2: 20). If Christ lives in you, then only he should take control of your life so that you will not live in sin in your mortal body. This is a choice you and I have to make daily. It’s a struggle we live with every day because the desires of the flesh will always want to take the upper hand. We must suppress this desire through our willingness and conviction to honor God with our life.
God wants us to be instruments of his righteousness and vessels of honor for him alone because Jesus Christ has already paid the penalty of our sin through his death and defeated sin through his resurrection. That’s why the life we live must be dead to sin and resurrected to life and life in its fullness (John 10: 10).
My beloved friend, you are no longer a slave to sin and its desires but have been set free from sin to live for Christ alone! If Christ has set you free from the bondage of sin, live your life to reflect it. Be the light to the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5: 13-16). Just as Christ was the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being (Hebrews 1: 3), you and I are to radiate that same glory wherever we go, so that the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2: 14).
HAVE A BLESSED AND GLORIOUS DAY!
